CAD Final
Spring 2021
This project was my final for my computer aided design class. For this project we had to design an article of clothing, and design surface patterns for it. In past classes, the students patterned drafted their garments and made actual samples. Since I took this class in an online environment, we took a different approach. We used CLO, a 3D design program where you can design clothing, and other soft goods, and simulate them in real time.
I chose to design for an older audience who have a love and passion for nature. I decided on a relatively simple overall work dress, mostly because CLO proved to be a difficult program to learn, but it was still a product that I believe my target market would want. The presentation also includes tech flats, and a pages from our PLM software.
